Virginia Linebackers Coach's Wife Natasha Adams shares her fav dessert!
Ingredients
1 cup pecans
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
2 tablespoons bourbon whiskey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (at least 60% cocoa)
1 pie crust (homemade or store-bought) I used store-bought
Preparation
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, bourbon, and vanilla. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
Step 2:
Fill pie crust with pecan mixture. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until filling is set.
